West Midlands Forum Summer Reception

Held at the iconic Birmingham Library roof terrace, the West Midlands Forum was in partnership with the new All Party-Parliamentary Group for Levelling Up Birmingham.

The event was opened up by co-chair Liam Byrne MP and speakers included; Andrew Mitchell MP, Shadow Secretary of State for International Development Preet Gill MP and West Midlands Mayor Andy Street.

The APPG showcased and advocated for Birmingham’s levelling up strategy, Prosperity and Opportunity for All (produced by the City Council and PwC) in a bid to secure the necessary resources and powers to unlock the City’s potential.
